We aren't offering a typical desk job, but an opportunity to build your own travel business together with us. It is not a call center, and there is no clock to punch. You will not have a manager or supervisor breathing down your neck to meet specific deadlines, but you will have clients with expectations that you will need to manage and satisfy.
This is a completely remote role that you would fulfill on your timetable, working with clients as needed and able. Some on our team are stay-at-home moms, while others have full-time jobs and do travel planning during other parts of their day. Part-time or full-time is not a big deal to us. What matters is providing excellent service causing your clients to want to return repeatedly for their travel experiences.
Upon initial consultation with clients or potential clients, you would manage their expectations about the proposal turnaround time, and then proactively craft itineraries for them based on their travel style, likes, desires, and budget. How you choose to meet with them is also your choice - either in person, by phone, or through an online meeting. As an independent contractor, you set your chosen working style
in motion.
We are a United States-based agency, with agents located in multiple states across the country, selling travel experiences to residents of the U.S. only. Wonderful Adventures Travel Group does not offer geographically protected territories or regions to its travel experts, therefore marketing to your clients in other states is acceptable.
The position is commission-based, and the commission split is paid to you after the client's travel is completed.
We will provide initial training, and you will have the opportunity for your self-guided continuing education, including a monthly team call, and occasional in-person team get-togethers, including an annual retreat opportunity.
Having a computer with an internet connection is critical to your success, along with a mobile phone, and some quiet space where you will be able to dedicate time toward this travel opportunity.
To be successful, there are a few skills that you should have to be considered for this role, but please don't assume you need everything on this list. If you feel the opportunity is worth pursuing, submit the information requested below, and let's have the conversation together. Personal interviews will be conducted to see who we'd like to invite to join the team.
