Your Dream Trip, Crafted Just for You—Start Planning Today
We’re growing carefully, with people who value curiosity, service, learning, and helping others experience the world well.
At Wonderful Adventures Travel Group, we believe travel should do more than move people from one place to another. It should open doors, create connections, build confidence, and send people home with stories they will carry for years.
That is why we are thoughtful about who joins our team. We are looking for curious, service-minded individuals who love travel, enjoy learning, communicate clearly, and care deeply about helping others experience the world well.
This opportunity is not for everyone — and that is okay. But for the right person, becoming a travel advisor can be a meaningful way to combine curiosity, independence, service, and a genuine love for helping people take the trip.

This is not a typical desk job, but an opportunity to build your travel business with us. There is no call center and no clock to punch. You won't have a supervisor setting daily deadlines, but you will have clients with expectations to manage and satisfy, along with a team for support, encouragement & accountability.
Remote, independent contractor, commission-based, flexible, relationship-driven.
This is a remote role that you would fulfill on your timetable, working with clients as needed and able. Some of our advisors have full-time jobs elsewhere and do travel planning during their free time. Some are planning for their “after retirement” situation, building their travel book of business before leaving the safety net of their full-time career.
Whether part-time or full-time, it’s not a big deal to us. What matters is that providing excellent service causes your clients to want to return repeatedly for their travel experiences.
This is not a salaried position, not a travel discount club, not a quick side hustle, not a guaranteed-income job.
The position is 100% commission-based, and you are paid a commission split after the client’s travel is completed. Lag times between booking a trip and the client departing can be lengthy, sometimes a year or longer, so it’s best to keep many things in your pipeline at all times!
Initial training, ongoing continuing education opportunities, community, supplier relationships, systems, mentorship, and agency support.
During onboarding, we will provide initial training, and you will have opportunities for self-guided continuing education, including monthly team calls, occasional in-person team gatherings, and an annual retreat. Everyone coming on board enjoys a monthly 1:1 meeting with our Owner & Chief Experience Officer during the first six (6) months of their time with us, and every advisor is part of a cohort for ongoing support and encouragement from our Leadership Team.
Communication, follow-through, professionalism, curiosity, initiative, service mindset.
Having a computer with an internet connection is critical to your success. Along with a mobile phone, you will need some quiet space to dedicate time to this travel opportunity.
Upon initial consultation with clients or potential clients, you would manage their expectations regarding the proposal turnaround time and then proactively craft itineraries tailored to their travel style, preferences, desires, and budget. How you meet with them is also your choice - either in person, by phone, or through an online meeting. As an independent contractor, you set your chosen working style in motion.
To be considered for this role, you should have a few skills, but please don’t assume you need everything on this list. We will conduct personal interviews to determine who we’d like to invite to join the team.
US-based individuals only, with a few restrictions. We aren’t currently onboarding anyone from California, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico.
We are a United States-based travel agency with agents located in multiple states across the country. We sell travel experiences to residents of the U.S. only. Wonderful Adventures Travel Group does not offer its travel experts any geographically protected territories or regions, so marketing to your clients in other states is acceptable.
We aren’t currently onboarding anyone from outside the United States. If that’s you, thank you for your interest, but we can’t work together at this time.
