This quote has stayed with Matthew since he first heard it back in 2016 while watching Game of Thrones for the first time. It resonated and has stuck with him because it perfectly articulated exactly how he’s always felt about travel.

Goshen travel agent Matthew Damer grew up around Northern Indiana and currently lives in Goshen, Indiana. His love for travel began early in his life thanks to many family trips around the country as he was growing up. The most commonly recurring destination and a personal favorite of all is the Walt Disney World ® Resort in Florida. His first visit was when he was just 3 years old, and since then, his love for Disney has only increased, and he could talk about it all day long. He’s been on many family trips, group trips, and trips with friends there, and a solo visit or two and is an experienced Disney vacation planner. Several of those trips also included visiting Universal Orlando® Resort, and he has grown to love it there as well. Matthew is excited to help others plan some amazing Disney or Universal vacations!

Annually the family enjoys multi-generational Florida gatherings in Panama City Beach and Sarasota where his grandparents participate as well. Beyond Florida, Matthew has also explored numerous regions of the United States including the Midwest, South, and West, as well as our nation's capital, Washington, DC. He has participated in school trips during high school and college and helped lead church youth group trips as well. He loves getting out into nature on these trips, including some active adventures such as camping and white-water rafting.
Individual states he has explored include South Dakota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Missouri, South Carolina, Texas, Arizona, and California.
Specific cities and regions include Kansas City, Chicago, Orlando, Los Angeles, and Hilton Head Island.

Matthew enjoys some great food and culinary options whenever he travels, and loves helping others discover how food truly is part of the overall experience.
