PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE. IT CONSTITUTES PART OF YOUR CONTRACT FOR TRAVEL-RELATED SERVICES. 


PLEASE CHECK YOUR DOCUMENTS WHEN YOU RECEIVE THEM. CALL YOUR WONDERFUL ADVENTURES TRAVEL GROUP TRAVEL ADVISOR IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS. 

MOST DISCOUNT FARES INVOLVE RESTRICTIONS. CHANGING CARRIERS OR FLIGHTS COULD RESULT IN THE AIRLINE DEMANDING AN INCREASED FARE. CHECK WITH THE AIRLINE OR YOUR WONDERFUL ADVENTURES TRAVEL GROUP TRAVEL ADVISOR BEFORE MAKING ANY CHANGES.


Your Wonderful Adventures Travel Group travel advisor is acting as an advisor distribution channel for travel providers (identified on your invoice and the accompanying documents) in selling travel-related services (such as air and ground transportation, hotel accommodations, meals, tours, cruises, etc.), or in accepting reservations or bookings for travel related services (“Travel Services”). Travel Services are not directly supplied by your Wonderful Adventures Travel Group travel advisor. Your Wonderful Adventures Travel Group travel advisor, therefore, shall not be responsible for breach of contract, failure to comply with any laws such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), cancellations, interruptions, or any intentional or negligent actions or omissions on the part of the suppliers of Travel Services, which result in any loss, damage, delay, inconvenience or injury to travelers or travelers’ companions or group members.


**In this document, we may refer to you the consumer as well as each of your travel companions as “you” or “Traveler.” We recommend you share this document with all your travel companions. The terms “we” and “us” refers to your Wonderful Adventures Travel Group travel advisor as identified below as well as Wonderful Adventures, LLC dba Wonderful Adventures Travel Group, as well as their officers, directors, and employees.


DISCLAIMER

You assume complete and full responsibility for, and hereby release the Wonderful Adventures Travel Group travel advisor and Wonderful Adventures, LLC, their officers, directors, and employees from any duty of checking and verifying any and all passport, visa, vaccination, or other entry requirements of each destination, and all safety and security conditions of such destinations, during the length of the proposed travel. It is the passenger’s responsibility to have proper passports or government-issued IDs where permitted.


Unless the term “guaranteed” is specifically stated in writing on your tickets, invoice, or reservation itinerary, your Wonderful Adventures Travel Group travel advisor does not guarantee any of such supplier’s rates, bookings, reservations, connections, scheduling, or handling of baggage or other personal effects. Travelers have done due diligence, are aware of the quality of the hotel accommodations chosen, and agree to release and hold us harmless for any claims, liabilities, or losses relating to the quality of accommodations and services of a travel supplier, and any delays, changes, or cancellations of any reservation or booking.


Neither your Wonderful Adventures Travel Group travel advisor nor Wonderful Adventures, LLC shall be responsible for, and you expressly release and hold us harmless from, any injuries, losses, or damages in connection with terrorist activities, social or labor unrest, mechanical or structural integrity of air, sea, and ground transportation and accommodations, diseases, epidemics/pandemics, local laws, terrorists acts, bankruptcy or cessation of supplier or carrier services, supplier default, climatic conditions, Acts of God, delays, interruptions, changes or cancellation of travel, including cancellations due to weather conditions, hotel services, accidents or health-related problems before or while in-transit to (e.g., an accident on the way to a tour), during, and after a tour, or any other actions, omissions, or conditions outside of our control.


By embarking upon his/her travel, the traveler voluntarily assumes all risks involved in such travel, whether expected or unexpected. Traveler is hereby warned of the above risks as well as possible travel industry bankruptcies and medical and climatic disruptions, and the possibility traveler may be unable to travel as scheduled because of a personal emergency.


Port, Air, and Government taxes are subject to change at any time. Cruise Lines reserve the right to reinstate Fuel Surcharges at their discretion and without notice.


Traveler’s retention of tickets, reservations, or bookings after issuance shall constitute consent to the above

AIR TRAVEL

Wonderful Adventures Travel Group requires a copy of your current, valid U.S. passport before making any air reservations on your behalf involving international itineraries.  To be considered valid, all passports MUST not expire within a minimum of six (6) months plus one (1) day from the last day of the intended travel itinerary.  It is the consumer's responsibility to ensure all passports are valid, and Wonderful Adventures Travel Group will not be held liable for any individual airline or government official denying you entry to another country should the passport not be accepted.


We will not be liable for any necessary changes to the passenger information post-booking, and any costs associated with said changes will be fully your responsibility. 

Air travelers with identification (ID) that does not meet the REAL ID ACT requirements will have to use alternate ID forms (passport, military ID, or permanent resident card) to pass TSA security checkpoints—even for domestic travel. Please visit http://www.travel.state.gov or https://www.dhs.gov/real-id for the most updated requirements for travel documentation. Visas are required when they apply.


Federal law forbids the carriage of certain hazardous materials, such as aerosols, fireworks, and flammable liquids, aboard the aircraft. If you do not understand these restrictions, contact your airline or go to http://www.faa.gov/about/initiatives/hazmat_safety/.


For information concerning possible dangers at international destinations, contact the Travel Experty Section of the U. S. State Department, at (202) 647-5225, or access the State-Department’s online Travel Experty service http://travel.state.gov/travel/warnings.html. For medical information, call the U. S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC), at (404) 332-4559, or log on to www.cdc.gov./travel. You assume complete and full responsibility for and hereby release us from any duty to investigate or inform you as to possible dangers, dangerous conditions, diseases, and other hazards associated with your destination.


Flight delays, cancelations, airline overbooking, and other flight disruptions are NOT the responsibility of Wonderful Adventures Travel Group. Should any disruption to your travel arrangement take place during your travels, consult the airline's customer service counter for immediate assistance. Wonderful Adventures Travel Group assumes NO liability for losses incurred due to such instances, and is not responsible for any refunds, change fees, or other expenses that might be incurred as a result of such instances. Wonderful Adventures Travel Group encourages all clients to secure adequate travel protection insurance coverage for every travel itinerary we secure on your behalf. 

CANCELATION

You fully understand and acknowledge:


  • that travel services can be interrupted or canceled by your travel provider, a government entity, or another third party outside your Wonderful Adventures Travel Group travel advisor's control for reasons unforeseeable at the time of booking. 
  • If travel plans are delayed, interrupted, or canceled for any reason, there will be no refunds issued by us. 
  • You understand and acknowledge that your Wonderful Adventures Travel Group travel advisor has no control over your travel provider's policies, which in addition to applicable law, will solely govern any cancellation, rebooking, and refund related to the travel services. 
  • Additionally, you acknowledge that travel provider vaccination policies may change even after a booking is made. 
  • Information regarding your travel provider’s cancellation and vaccination policies can be found on the travel provider’s invoice or statement provided to you and may also be found online by visiting the travel provider’s website directly. 
  • There will be no refunds due to fear of travel from actual or threatened terrorist events. 
  • We are not liable for the acts or omissions of any third-party vendors/suppliers/providers. 
  • You understand and acknowledge that, if applicable, the travel insurance policy obtained by you to cover travel services will dictate any coverage for financial loss resulting from interruption or cancellation of the travel services. 

CRUISES: ONLINE CHECK-IN PRIOR TO YOUR CRUISE

Cruise lines require that you pre-register and check in for your cruise through their website no later than three days prior to sailing. If you have not completed online check-in, you will be required to complete the information at the pier at least two hours prior to the published sailing time. All guests must be checked in and onboard the ship no later than 90 minutes prior to the published sailing time or will be refused the ability to sail and may not be entitled to a refund.

FEES

Wonderful Adventures Travel Group gives each travel advisor the opportunity to set his/her own specific Travel Planning Consultation & Research Fees for their individual travel planning services. 


  • By submitting our Travel Planning Questionnaire, you the consumer are agreeing to the fees as presented by the individual travel advisor and agree to pay the invoice upon receipt.  
  • These fees are not part of the travel arrangement costs for your specific travel itinerary and are “over and above” or “in addition to” the total cost.  
  • These fees are fully non-refundable once collected. 

 

WHAT'S PROVIDED & WHY DO WE CHARGE FEES

Respective of our professional fees, please consider that the average American will spend upwards of 20 hours researching online through dozens and dozens of websites for a single weeklong vacation and a travel professional has the vendor relationships, experience, training, and capability to do it all for you in less time. (Our goal for the turnaround to you is generally within 72 hours but some proposals will require more time to properly build given the assorted parameters of certain destinations and travel types). We will let you know an anticipated duration as to when you can expect to receive your proposal. 


We feel that our fee structure is fair, and any fee(s) paid are part of our overall compensation given our professional certifications and expertise. The balance of how we get paid then comes from the trip supplier/vendor in the form of a commission after you have returned home from your trip, which might be many months from now. The fee that you pay covers the following: 


  • We do the research for you...all of our time and services are part of it, including the research and proposal presentation. We will review availability, pricing, promotional opportunities, and more while building out your proposal recommendation. 
  • Total flexibility in provider options...as an independent travel agency, we work with all the cruise lines, and a multitude of land-based travel vendors, giving us the flexibility needed to build a package based on your travel style, likes, desires, and budget. We are NOT beholden to any single provider, and therefore are not going to base our recommendation based on any single provider's inventory. We fully understand that cruise lines and land resorts are NOT one-size-fits-all and try hard to match the right property with the right client. We base ALL of our recommendations on the information that you provide for your travel style, likes, desires, and budget, and therefore are not just looking for which vendor offers the best commission for us. We will NOT push you into a situation that is not right for you. 
  • Options for your consideration...when building a package proposal for you, we will present optional items (activities, excursions, tours, etc) that fit within your travel style, likes, desires, and budgets, but those recommended options are NOT required to be part of the final package. If you really don't want to include a particular component, just say so and we can remove it. We include them based on our conversations with you and the information provided above, but ultimately its your trip and we want you to have the best experience you want to have. 
  • Trip preparation & documentation...we assemble everything needed to get you ready to travel all the way until you return home once again and will send out your travel documents 2-3 weeks prior to departure. Plus, you'll have access to all of it through our My Trips app on your mobile device.
  • Consistently monitoring...we are regularly watching your reservation in the time leading up to departure for any updates or changes from the travel supplier, so you don't have to.
  • We are your advocate...while you are traveling, we are here for you should something go wrong while you are in your destination.
  • A single point of contact...unlike a website or other form of booking such as a big box warehouse store or similar, you’ll have one point of contact for any questions and concerns – the travel advisor you are working with.  In most other methods of booking travel, you would never speak to the same person twice and have to repeat your questions or situation over and over again.
  • We're with you until you get home again...just think of us as walking beside you both as a guide from the beginning until the end when you return home. 
  • Itinerary revisions...we understand that things happen that sometimes happen to necessitate a change or revision to your travel plans. Based on the type of travel involved we will provide up to three (3) revisions to a proposal at no charge, but beyond that, we will begin to charge for any subsequent revision request. Note that once a trip is actually booked with the supplier (meaning your deposits have been paid or it's been paid in full) the travel supplier themselves will most likely have their own change fees that we have nothing to do with. All of the travel suppliers' terms and conditions will be shared with you at the time of booking so you will understand what their rules are about the actual reservation. 

PAYMENTS

 Wonderful Adventures Travel Group is a travel agency and therefore does not provide the specific travel components that make up your itinerary, but rather the planning services and assembly of said components into an itinerary.  Therefore the necessary payments for your travel arrangements are collected via credit card authorization. Other than specific Travel Planning Consultation & Research Fees charged by individual Wonderful Adventures Travel Group travel advisors and agreed to by you prior to beginning the vacation planning process, Wonderful Adventures Travel Group does NOT collect or retain any funds from you for your travel arrangements. All funds authorized by you for specific travel components will be processed directly by the respective travel supplier.  


  • Travel Planning Consultation & Research Fees are separate from any travel itinerary costs and are fully non-refundable once paid to the travel advisor.  The consumer has 90 days from submission of the fee to place a deposit on a travel itinerary or risk losing the funds entirely.
  • A Credit Card Authorization is required to be submitted for ANY transaction toward your travel arrangements. NO funds will be processed without having a credit card authorization on file. 
  • Once authorized by you, payments to the travel suppliers for your travel arrangements are charged to the credit card authorized and specifically processed by the respective travel suppliers. 
  • Wonderful Adventures Travel Group is not responsible in any manner for any refunds that may be due to you as a result of cancelation with a specific travel supplier. 
  • Any refunds authorized by the travel supplier(s) will be directly processed by the travel supplier per their refund policies and sent back to the original form of payment per their methodology, timing, and procedures. 
  • Wonderful Adventures Travel Group has no control over the methodology, timing, or processing of said travel supplier refunds. 

RISKS

U.S. Government requirements are constantly changing regarding passport requirements for cruise travel outside the U.S. and U.S. domestic travel.  We strongly recommend confirming your travel documentation needs with the proper government agencies: www.travel.state.gov.. Foreign nationals should contact their government for further details and requirements. Guests traveling without proper documentation may be denied boarding and will not be entitled to a refund.


You acknowledge that traveling involves the risk of a variety of hazards to health and/or safety, including but not limited to, injury, illness, disease, epidemics, and/or pandemics, including exposure to COVID-19. You expressly understand and agree that you assume all such risks associated with traveling whether or not specified herein. 

TRAVEL PROTECTION INSURANCE

Travel Protection insurance is highly recommended to help protect your investment and aid in a travel emergency or any other unforeseen circumstance that could affect your travel plans, such as delays, interruptions, cancellations, and default by the travel provider. This is especially important if traveling abroad. The U.S. Department of State recommends travel insurance for anyone traveling abroad. In fact, they think travel insurance is so important they even say so in every U.S. passport. Just peek inside your passport. Your Wonderful Adventures Travel Group travel expert will provide you with a quote for Travel Insurance and you must accept or decline this Insurance in writing.
