Jesse Watkins is a native of Cannelton, a small town nestled on the banks of the Ohio River in southern Indiana. As a child, he learned early on that the world was a much bigger place than where he came from. He has also learned the value of taking every opportunity given to get out and discover the world. His first real opportunity came when he was in the fourth grade, and invited to represent both Cannelton Elementary and his country at the Millenium International Children Conference in Eastbourne, England, where he spent 10 days getting to explore a new country, discovering both rural and urban environments throughout the United Kingdom. Ten-year-old Jesse reveled in interacting with his peers from around the world, meeting new people, plus sampling new foods and new experiences that he had only dreamed of at home in southern Indiana.

LOVER OF DISCOVERY AND EXPLORATION

That trip to the United Kingdom ignited Jesse's passion for travel and having new experiences in new places. As he continued through his youth and into early adulthood, Jesse began to explore more places across much of the United States and Canada. He loves cruises and has experienced many throughout the Caribbean, and as a result, seeks to help others discover this relaxing form of vacation that also allows for a peek into other cultures by way of the various ports of call the ships will visit in each itinerary.

GROUP TRAVEL EXPERT

Thanks to a combination of his primary role as an executive director for the Perry County Council on Aging, along with extensive travels throughout the United States, Jesse found a new love within the world of group travel, leading multiple guided vacations via motorcoach around the United States each year. Group Travel has truly become his passion. Jesse's core goal for several years has been bringing quality service to popular destinations at a great value as a Cannelton travel agent.

Now in his mid-thirties, Jesse has been married for several years to his wonderful spouse, Chris, and lives in his hometown of Cannelton, with their three fur babies, Izzy, Linus, and Lucy.

Jesse's decade-plus of service in the nonprofit sector of a community health and human services organization has positioned him well for working together with people to make things happen. He has several years of experience planning group travel and guided motorcoach vacations. He looks forward to working with you to create travel opportunities that will make lifelong memories as you get out and explore the world in your preferred way.
